Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, businessman Herman Cain of Georgia, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich of Georgia, former Gov. Gary Johnson of New Mexico, and former Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania have accepted an invitation extended to all major candidates, according to the report.

Mitt Romney and incumbent President Barack Obama have not yet replied, while Texas Gov. Rick Perry, former Gov. Jon Huntsman of Utah, and Texas Rep. Ron Paul have declined.

The state house speeches come the day after the next G.O.P. debate, to be held in New Hampshire at Dartmouth College.
